Jennifer R. Cohen

Jennifer R. Cohen is curator, provenance and research, at the Art Institute of Chicago. She is a former research associate in Modern and Contemporary Art and Mellon COSI Curatorial Research Fellow in Photography. Favorite projects at the museum include the exhibitions Magritte: The Mystery of the Ordinary, 1926–1938; Alfred Stieglitz and the 19th Century; Ray Johnson c/o; c/o Tender Buttons; and Salvador Dalí: The Image Disappears.
Jennifer holds a PhD in art history from the University of Chicago and an MA in textiles and apparel from Cornell University.
