Kimberly Muir

Research conservator Kim Muir joined the Art Institute in 2005, where she has been an integral member of the Conservation and Science department. In addition to her published research, she has co-authored multiple digital scholarly catalogues for the Art Institute, including Manet Paintings and Works on Paper at the Art Institute of Chicago (2017), Monet Paintings and Drawings at the Art Institute of Chicago (2014), and Whistler and Roussel: Linked Visions (2015). 

Muir has a master’s degree in art conservation and a PhD in art history from Queen’s University, Canada.
