Carl Fuldner

Carl Fuldner

Carl Fuldner is the Daniel F. and Ada L. Rice Postdoctoral Curatorial Fellow in Photography and Media. Most recently, he curated The Human Environment (2021), which considers photography in relation to environmentalism, land use, and public health across time. He holds a PhD in art history from the University of Chicago. He has held curatorial positions and fellowships at the Yale University Art Gallery, the Smart Museum of Art, and the Madison Museum of Contemporary Art and has taught at both University of Chicago and the Rhode Island School of Design. His interdisciplinary work on art and the environment has appeared in multiple journals, exhibition catalogues, and online platforms.
