Paul Cezanne

In the major retrospective Cezanne, state-of-the-art technical analysis of the artist’s palette, compositional construction, and mark making, deepen our understanding of how Cezanne conceived and developed his famously deliberate and nonlinear process. Learn more about the conservation and scientific research of Cezanne’s works in the Art Institute’s collection in this conversation with conservation scientist Giovanni Verri, paintings research conservator Kim Muir, and associate conservator of works on paper Mary Broadway.
